Juliá, a Story of Open Doors
Open to change and evolution.
When on August 12, 1948, Lorenzo Juliá and his wife Margarita Miquel Sastre inaugurated “Droguería Juliá,” they could not have imagined all that opening those doors would bring them. It opened up the possibility to evolve, adapt to different stages, and grow. So much so that today, thanks to their hard work, commitment, and vision, they can be proud to have become a leading company in the paint and decoration sector in Mallorca.
Indeed, the vision for the future and the ability to anticipate market trends and react are values that are in the DNA of the Juliá family, which has managed to adapt to each era without losing its essence. As “Casa Juliá” (as it is still remembered) grew and modified its offerings, new family members were gradually incorporated. Up to three generations! Each contributed the best of themselves: ideas, training, and perspectives that have undoubtedly worked.
It is a fact that the personal and professional values of Bartolomé Juliá Miquel and Antonio Juliá Adrover aligned. Thanks to each and every one of them, seventy-six years after its opening, that drugstore that first transformed into a hardware store, later into a photography lab, and then into a paint shop now encompasses 3,000 square meters. Spaces spread across four establishments located in the center of Palma (where it all began), in the Son Castelló Industrial Park, in Manacor, and in the Son Bugadelles Industrial Park.
